MunichHelles-Created in Munich in 1895 at the Spaten brewery as a competitor to Pilsen-type light beer. Today it is the most popular style in southern Germany. When brewing this beer, all the characteristic ingredients are used, which include continental malt, traditional German hop varieties of the Zhatetsky type, and pure German camp yeast. The result is a refreshing everyday drink with a soft sweet-grain malt flavor.
